Matching groups by temperament keeps every dog in play that feels safe, so they come home happily tired — not stressed-out exhausted.

This is why we're in the country: acres of fenced grass, wildflower edges made for sniffing, a splash pond, and enrichment courses that tire the brain as well as the legs. A tired dog isn't the goal — a fulfilled one is.

Adult dogs need 12+ hours of sleep a day — and an all-go, all-day daycare sends them home wired, not happy. Our day runs on a rhythm, like school: big play, then real rest in climate-controlled quiet rooms.

Current Rabies, DHPP, and Bordetella vaccines · spayed/neutered over 7 months · free meet & greet day before first full visit. It's how we keep the whole pack safe.

We keep grooming simple and stress-free: fresh dog washes and nail trims at our walk-in wash stations. Add either to any daycare day or boarding stay, and your pup comes home tired, happy, and smelling wonderful.

Penny & Pals started with a simple idea: dogs deserve a vacation too. While their families head to the coast or the airport, our guests head the other direction — out past the city limits, where the grass is long, the air smells like summer, and somebody's always up for a game of chase.
We're a family-owned, small-by-design facility in the Salem-Keizer countryside. Small playgroups instead of crowds. Names instead of numbers. Nap time instead of burnout. The kind of place we always wished existed for our own dogs — so we're building it.
Close enough for an easy drop-off on your way to work. Far enough that your dog comes home smelling like sunshine.
